JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa made a number of donations for Phuket’s less fortunate children during January 2012. The donations were in line with Marriott Hotels & Resorts’ belief in not only taking care of its Marriott Associates but also the world around them, and its co-operation with SOS Children’s Villages Thailand, which works to find loving homes for children in need. The co-operation is part of Marriott’s Spirit to Serve our Community initiative, in which the company seeks to give back to society and the communities in which its properties are located.
The provinces of Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi will provide the backdrop to The Bay Regatta (formerly the Phang Nga Bay Regatta), one of the world’s most scenic sailing events, from February 1 – 5.
